Steel
arc welded sheet forming a rigid load-bearing structure.
The special configurations allows for high accessibility
to components. The disposal of the components, the battery
on the rear axle and the front traction-steering unit make
very stable machine.
The rear axle is provided, in the model SE-SM, with a suspension for a better
comfort of the driver.
Traction unit
It is composed of an oil-filled reduction gear and it is
moved by a powerful motor, A.C. type in the model SE-SM.
It is connected to the frame by a ball-bearing fifth
wheel of big dimensions.
The traction unit have the motor assembled vertically for a better ventilation
and protection against Impacts and dirt.
Braking
The machine is normally braked by the electronic system which acts the motor
and slackens its speed when the accelerator is released. A higher reverse current
braking is always possible by means of the chopper. A negative solenoid brake
acts as safety and parking brake. In the model SE and SM an hydraulic system,
moved by a pedal , acts on the rear wheels.
Drive piace
It
is created to ensure the comfort for a half-sitting operator;
its base is very low, allowing to go up/down continually
and comfortable. In the model with manual steering, the
driver use a tiller while in the model with electric steering,
the operator use a small steer. In both the machines the
direction and the speed are obtained by drive throttles.
The desk board Nave a battery
discharge indicator that show hours of work and eventually faults. There are
then the start key, the tight switch and the horn button.
Electric system
Mainly composed of an electronic control , D.C. for the 2Tons machines and A.C
for the bigger models, which guarantees the machine power at low speed, a good
maximum speed, the movement control, the regenerative braking and the counter
current brake.
Wheels
They
are, in reference to the type of the machine, of big dimensions.
Covered by polyurethane or rubber.
Safety devices
The machines complies with the effective standards with
respect to components, performances and stability.
